    Late Reasons

    in For Admin Teams

    As much as vessels try to depart on time, there will be instances that prevent them from doing so. Such instances commonly include weather and other unexpected mishaps on the vessel, crew, or passenger/s that caused the delay. And SeaLogs provides a section where you can record these unfortunate times.

    First, you must be in Admin view.

    Main menu > Settings > Schedules > Late Reasons.

    Here you will see the list of all late reasons previously entered. You can view, edit, or delete these reasons on this page. You can also add new late reasons.




    If you wish to view an old late reason, click on the magnifying glass icon. This will show you the details of the viewed late reason (example below).



    From this page, you can edit or delete the late reason being viewed by clicking the 3-dots on the top right corner of the page.

    Alternatively, you can also edit or delete late reasons from the Late Departure Reasons section page as below by clicking the pencil icon to edit or red rubbish bin icon to delete.

    Remember to click SAVE CHANGES when you edit an old late reason to save the changes.

    If you are deleting an old late reason, click CONTINUE to confirm delete.



    However, if you wish to add a late reason, click on the black plus (+) button as below.



    Describe the reason of your late departure as concisely as possible. Number of characters is limited up to 150 characters (maximum), including spaces.

    Click ADD to complete.
