For an overview as to how to Complete an Adhoc Task, please click below:
To begin, please navigate to the Task section. You can filter by the Task Type using the filter option highlighted below, this will allow you to focus on only the Ad-Hoc/Once-off tasks.
In the Task Table, you will see the Status on the right.
If we go back a step to when we were Adding a Once-Off/Ad-hoc Task there are those Status options, (below). It is the Status from each task that is displayed in the Task List above.
Below we can see the Status list for the Tasks. In this example, we have Open, Save As Draft and In Review. The Open task hasn't had a status set and is in bright yellow alerting you to this. The other tasks are in progress and are being reviewed.
The purpose of the status is to track the progress of a task throughout its completion process.
To Complete an Ad-hoc Task, please click 'EDIT' on the far right of the Task.
Add Comments or Progress Notes for the Task.
Once you have successfully completed the Task, please click 'Completed' on the Status bar and save.
Once you have clicked 'Save' it will display a review page. Here if you select the 3-dot vertical menu, you can edit, delete or return to the Task List section.
In the Task List section, you can review the Task you have just completed in the Task Table.
You will note that the Status has now changed to 'Completed', eg.
If a Task has Green, Orange or Red coloured text, this signals the Tasks priority. Red is the most urgent.
Select Edit to capture any comments or progress notes associated with the task.
To complete, follow the same process as detailed above - change the Status bar to 'Completed', sign and save. The font colour will default back to black when completed.
