This article will guide you on how to create and assign a task to a user.
From your Home Port, click the TASKS button.
Then select the ADD TASK.
For this article, we are going to create an ad-hoc task. Choose CREATE AN AD HOC TASK button.
Fill in the necessary details such as the Apply Task To and Task Description fields. You can also select the priority of the task.
Select from the drop-down menu. Choose the name who added the task and to whom the task will be assigned to.
Click the SAVE button to save your changes. Now, the task is assigned to user 'Crew Kumar'.
As a crew or user, you will get a notification whenever a task is assigned to you. To set up this alert, you can check How To Setup Maintenance Notification article.
Click on the task icon to display all the assigned tasks. To complete a task, check out the article on How to Complete an Ad Hoc Task.
